There are 20 beds in the pediatric and gynecological departments, and an additional 30 beds have been set up.
“At the beginning of January 2026, the number of children with symptoms of cough, flu, and high fever fluctuated between 29 and 30; however, from January 7 to January 9, this figure increased to 45-51. Currently, the 20-bed pediatric department is fully occupied, and the gynecological department has added another 30 beds. Medical staff provide round-the-clock monitoring of the children. This situation occurs every year, as during the New Year holidays, children often consume cold drinks, which leads to illnesses. Currently, the supply of medications is sufficient,” commented the Center for General Medical Practice.
Doctors also recommend that parents limit visits to entertainment events during the cold season, ensure that children do not play outside alone in the streets and parks, and constantly take care of their health.
