As a result of the fire that occurred the day before at the capital's nursing home, there is an urgent need for donor blood for the victims. This was reported by the Republican Center for Health Promotion, citing data from the Republican Blood Center.
As specialists note, during the holiday period there is a sharp decline in the number of donors, as many are on vacation or weekends. At the same time, the demand for blood, on the contrary, increases.
Citizens willing to help can come to the address: Bishkek, Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue, 60.
The blood center will operate during the holidays — January 7, 8, and 9 — from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. It is important to have an identification document with you.
Before donating blood, it is recommended to avoid eating fatty, fried, and dairy foods.
