A criminal case has been initiated in Bishkek regarding the fire at the Nursing Home, as reported by the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District.
Currently, a fire-technical examination is being conducted. The investigation is being carried out under the article "Violation of fire safety rules" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Recall that the incident occurred on January 6 in the palliative care unit, which is located in a separate building. As a result of the fire, two severely ill residents lost their lives.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, four fire brigades and an operational headquarters were involved in extinguishing the fire. The fire threat was successfully eliminated. Eleven people were hospitalized, including one firefighter.
