The Republican Center for Health Promotion urges citizens to start the new year by paying attention to their well-being. Experts from the institution remind of several simple yet effective habits that can help boost energy levels and improve overall health.
The holiday season is a great opportunity to rethink your lifestyle and take steps towards adopting healthier habits.
The following is recommended:
- Morning exercises. Just 5–10 minutes of light exercises can help invigorate you and increase your energy tone.
- Maintaining water balance. A glass of water in the morning helps improve skin condition, metabolism, and energy levels.
- Regular walks. Half an hour outdoors strengthens the immune system and lifts your mood.
- Increasing the intake of vegetables and fruits. Healthy food should be part of every meal.
- Quality sleep. Following a routine and getting at least 8 hours of sleep contributes to emotional balance and high productivity.
- Reducing sugar intake. It's better to replace sweets with fruits and other healthy snacks.
- A day without digital devices. Time away from gadgets should be dedicated to family communication, reading, or hobbies.
“Every small step is an investment in your health,” the center noted.
