New Hypothesis: Consciousness Generates the Quantum Field of the Universe

Joachim Kepler, a researcher from the DIWISS institute in Germany, has proposed a theory that consciousness is formed as a result of complex interactions between neurotransmitters and the quantum vacuum. He states that "macroscopic quantum effects have a significant impact on neural patterns related to awareness and wakefulness."

To analyze quantum field theory in the context of brain function, it is important to start with the concept of the zero field, which can be envisioned as a vast invisible ocean of energy permeating the entire universe. This energy continues to exist even in conditions of complete vacuum, manifesting as fluctuating waves. Although this field is typically not considered in biological research, Kepler suggests that it plays a crucial role in organizing neural activity.
According to Kepler, the columns of the cerebral cortex, composed of neurons, can utilize this energy. These columns are the primary functional units of the cortex and act as antennas capable of capturing specific frequencies of the universal field.

One of the main neurotransmitters in the brain is glutamate. Upon reaching a critical concentration in synaptic vesicles, glutamate molecules begin to synchronize, interacting with the zero field and creating a "coherence zone" where millions of molecules function as a single quantum whole. This process amplifies the energy of the quantum vacuum, shifting the frequency of the field into the microwave range.

Subsequently, the formed internal microwave field governs neuronal activity, regulating the opening and closing of ion channels, as well as interactions between neurons.

The uniqueness of Kepler's hypothesis lies in its testability.

If the quantum field of the brain truly exists, then its blockage should lead to the disconnection of consciousness. The author proposes to conduct an experiment inspired by the Casimir effect, which involves placing small perfectly conducting plates around a section of the brain to shield neurons from specific frequencies of the zero field. If the hypothesis is confirmed, neurons under the screen will not be able to synchronize, disrupting the balance necessary for consciousness.

A similar effect is observed when using anesthetics, which destroy the structures responsible for the emergence of conscious states. When resonance ceases, a person falls into an unconscious state.

"The resonant connection of the brain with the zero field is a fundamental principle in the formation of conscious states," asserts Kepler.

Maria Strömme from Sweden has proposed an original theoretical model of the nature of reality, considering consciousness as nothing other than a fundamental field underlying everything we perceive: matter, space, time, and life as a whole.
