Farhad Toktosunov, a resident of the village of Ak-Zhar in the Kochkor district of the Naryn region, shared information on how dead bees can be beneficial for human health.

He noted that dried bees find application in traditional medicine.

“Bees typically live for about a month, and a large number of these insects die each year. The healing properties of dead bees do not depend on the season, but it is important to know how to use them correctly. Their structure contains chitosan, which is similar in properties to the cartilage and connective tissue of the human body. Many people make bee submor from dried bees to use it for recovery after surgeries. However, in our area, few people know about the healing properties of dead bees, probably due to a lack of information or fear of potential consequences,” he added.

Toktosunov also emphasized that the bodies of dead bees are rich in vitamins and trace elements.

“Dried bees can help regulate blood sugar levels, treat inflammations, issues with the male reproductive system (such as adenoma), hypertension and hypotension, as well as in the therapy of certain skin diseases, myopia, and diseases of the kidneys, brain, and heart,” he noted.
Submor is dried bees that have high value due to their nutritional composition. They contain components such as pollen, wax, venom, and honey, which enhance their beneficial properties.
