According to the participants, fishing at one of the local ponds provided an opportunity to truly enjoy sport fishing. The intense bite was likely caused by the warm weather, which prevented the formation of an ice crust. As a result, fishermen used summer rods to catch carp, roach, and crucian carp.
As bait, they used maggots, corn, and larvae. The main catch consisted of carp weighing between two and three kilograms. Due to the significant amount of fish caught, most fishermen had to return a large portion of their catch back into the water.
