On January 14, the head of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security, Abdykarim Alimbaev, announced on the air of "Birinchi Radio" plans to construct a modern border crossing point in the village of Kamyshanovka, located in the Chui region, in collaboration with Kazakhstan.

According to Alimbaev, this step is due to the high flow of people and vehicles at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.

Additionally, he noted that an expanded meeting will take place on January 19, which will involve representatives from Kazakhstan, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, and heads of relevant agencies.

“At this meeting, an action plan will be developed and approved, after which the project implementation will begin,” he added.
