In Kyrgyzstan, 12,124 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in a week

From January 5 to 12, Kyrgyzstan registered 12,124 cases of ARVI and influenza. This was reported by Sultan Suranbaev, a doctor from the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Department, on the air of "Birinchi Radio."

According to him, these figures exceed the data from the previous week by 27%.

Suranbaev noted that various viruses are being registered, including rhinovirus, adenovirus, parainfluenza, and others. Among the registered cases, there are also cases of influenza, predominantly influenza A, while cases of influenza B are recorded less frequently.

The specialist added that statistics are collected monthly, and a detailed analysis is conducted weekly along with epidemiological surveillance.
