Season of ARVI. Which flu is more common among Kyrgyzstanis, a specialist explained

During the New Year holidays, 12,124 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Sultan Suranbaev, a doctor from the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, on the air of "Birinchi Radio."

According to the specialist, this number exceeds the figures of the previous week by 27 percent.

Suranbaev emphasized that various viral infections are being recorded in the country, including rhinovirus, adenovirus, and parainfluenza. The most common is influenza type A, although cases of influenza type B are also present, though their number is significantly lower.

The department conducts constant monitoring of the epidemiological situation and oversees the spread of infections.
