According to information provided by the heads of children's hospitals and health system coordinators, the number of admissions to hospitals is within the range of long-term values. However, it has been observed that some admissions are coming directly to hospitals, bypassing the primary care level. Despite this, on weekends and holidays, all Family Medicine Centers in the republic organized duty shifts to accept patients.
The Minister of Health has instructed the need to improve the sorting and routing of patients in Family Medicine Centers to optimize the distribution of patient flow between different levels of medical care.
The meeting also discussed the importance of preventive work and informing the population. Kanibek Dosmambetov noted that it is necessary to activate sanitary and educational activities and establish cooperation with the media to clarify to the public the routes for seeking medical assistance and measures for the prevention of seasonal infections.
“Although the epidemiological situation in the country remains stable, it is important to organize actions at all levels. We must improve sorting and routing at the primary level, continue preventive work, and more actively inform the population through the media to reduce unjustified admissions to hospitals and strengthen the healthcare system as a whole,” concluded Kanibek Dosmambetov.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided that the headquarters would continue daily monitoring and operational coordination with the regions to maintain the resilience of the healthcare system during the seasonal illness period.
