Citizens of Kyrgyzstan who are changing their driver's licenses can take the opportunity to undergo testing for hepatitis B and C, as well as for HIV infection, during the process of obtaining medical certificate 083. This information was announced by representatives of the Ministry of Health, citing specialist Aibek Bekbolotov from the Republican Center for the Control of Hematogenic Viral Hepatitis and HIV.

As Bekbolotov noted, vaccination against hepatitis B is also available at family medicine centers.

“Undergoing testing and vaccination will not affect the issuance of a driver's license. We are simply suggesting that you use your time more efficiently — to accomplish two important tasks in one visit to the polyclinic,” he added.

Previously, residents of the country expressed dissatisfaction with the long queues for obtaining medical certificate 083.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that the load on polyclinics has increased sixfold and urged citizens to be patient.
