In the Chon-Kemin Nature Park, a snow leopard was released back into the wild

According to information provided by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, a rare predator was recorded in the village of Boroldoy on December 29 at 23:20, located in the Kemin district. It is believed that the snow leopard descended from the mountains and climbed a tree in the vicinity of the settlement.





Experts who arrived at the scene examined the animal and confirmed its stable condition. Subsequently, the snow leopard was released back into its natural habitat located in the Chon-Kemin Natural Park.




The agency also reminded that the snow leopard is listed in the Red Book and is a protected species. Citizens are strongly advised to immediately contact the relevant organizations upon discovering wild animals and not to take independent actions.
