It was previously reported that on the night of December 30, the snow leopard entered the property of a local resident in Boroldoy, located in the Kemin district. After its capture, the animal was temporarily placed in a wildlife rehabilitation center, which is part of the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU) at the Saylyu-Terek pasture in the Chui region.
“The animal underwent all necessary veterinary and biological examinations under the supervision of specialists. Its age is estimated to be 3-4 years, the male weighs 42.7 kg and is about 2 meters long,” the statement noted.
