In which sectors do people earn the most in Kyrgyzstan – data from the Ministry of Labor

The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has published data on average wages across various sectors of the economy.

According to information from the National Statistical Committee, the highest wages are observed in the financial sector, where the average income is 67,121 soms. Similar figures are recorded in industry — 66,990 soms.

In the transport sector, workers earn about 58,657 soms, while in construction, the average is 57,472 soms. The average salary in trade is 47,125 soms, and in agriculture, it is 33,462 soms.

Significantly lower than the national average are the incomes in the service sector — 29,679 soms, as well as in healthcare and social services — 28,082 soms, and in education — 27,054 soms. The most modest salaries are recorded in the cultural sector, where the average income is 24,861 soms.

Representatives of the Ministry of Labor also reminded that citizens can contact territorial employment services for detailed information about job vacancies and employment opportunities.
