In 2024, the budget amount was 74 million soms, and in 2025 it increased to 89 million soms.
Fifteen deputies, Mayor Radju Noruzbaev, city hall staff, and heads of local institutions attended the meeting where this issue was discussed.
The main item on the agenda was the approval of the budget for 2026. As a result of the discussions, the deputies agreed on a record budget exceeding 140 million soms, which includes important projects planned for the next year.
As part of the budget, based on the proposals of the deputies and the permanent commission, priority initiatives aimed at improving urban infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for citizens have been included.
Among the planned activities are: the creation of a central city park, the purchase of special equipment for communal needs, the modernization and repair of water supply and sewage systems, the installation of children's playgrounds and workout zones, as well as road repairs and the improvement of squares, and the updating of garbage containers.
Following the city hall meeting, it was instructed to ensure the targeted, effective, and timely use of the approved funds, as well as to take measures for the quality implementation of all planned initiatives.
