The founder of the bank is Mikhail Kuzovlev, who has ties to the Russian financial sector, having previously held the position of head of "Bank of Moscow." Initially, Erkinbek Jumabaev was appointed as the chairman of the new institution, who previously held a similar position at "Keremet Bank" and "Bank Kompanion." However, the current head of the bank is Biyalieva Erkeaiym Samarkbekovna.
Previously, licenses for banking activities were granted to institutions such as "Alma Bank" and "Post Bank."
Thus, there are currently 21 commercial banks operating in Kyrgyzstan.
