Among the proposed changes are new rules for the alienation of movable property owned by the state, with the exception of shares and stakes in business entities. The procedure for such sales will be under the jurisdiction of the Cabinet.
In addition, the norms concerning practical steps for the privatization and transformation of state enterprises have been clarified. In particular, Article 10 clearly states that only real estate not subject to industry-specific prohibitions is eligible for privatization.
The procedure for approving the transfer act in the process of transforming enterprises has also changed: now the decision will be made by the authorized state body appointed by the Cabinet.
Significant changes will also affect information disclosure. The draft law requires that information about upcoming auctions be published at least 30 days before they begin, and for strategically important facilities — 90 days. The results of privatization must be posted on official portals no later than one month after the completion of the transaction.
