In 2026, 75 agricultural processing enterprises will be launched in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The launch of 75 new processing enterprises in agriculture is planned for 2026 in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced by Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, during a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with agricultural policy and ecology.

Torobaev noted that the list of enterprises was compiled taking into account the characteristics of each region and the availability of raw materials.

It is also expected that by 2030, the total number of new companies in the field of agricultural product processing will increase to 385.

Currently, there are 483 large and medium processing enterprises, 40 trade and logistics centers, approximately 15,000 small enterprises, 264 storage facilities for vegetables and fruits, as well as 119 slaughter points operating in Kyrgyzstan.
