During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for deepening cooperation, focusing on the political-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Kyrgyzstan is interested in expanding bilateral relations with Turkey and plans to increase trade volume to $5 billion.
Numan Kurtulmuş emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is an important partner for Turkey. "We attach great importance to our relations and actively cooperate on international platforms such as the Organization of Turkic States and TurkPA. Discussing ways to further develop bilateral cooperation and exchanging views on deepening our relations became the main topic of the meeting," he noted.

Additionally, he announced Turkey's support for Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council for the years 2027-2028.
