Marlen Mambetaliev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, shared his opinion on the possible resignation of the parliament speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu and commented on the dismissal of the head of the GKNB Kamchybek Tashiev.
According to the parliamentarian, the work of the Jogorku Kenesh continues as usual, and any decisions of this kind should be made collectively.
“The usual issues are on the agenda. We are working in a standard mode. It is necessary for this to be a collective decision,” Mambetaliev said in response to a question about the possible replacement of the speaker.
Regarding Tashiev's resignation, the deputy emphasized that it was the decision of President Sadyr Japarov.
“Tashiev himself commented on his resignation. This decision came as a surprise to many, as there were no clear signs preceding it. Nevertheless, every public servant understands the hierarchy. Just as a soldier obeys a general, so do public servants act in accordance with established procedures. We continue to work in this mode,” he added.
