Today, February 11, while answering journalists' questions at the opening of the "Kyrush" kindergarten, which underwent major repairs, the mayor said that Tashiev made his statement and respects the president's decision.
“I am a cadre of this person. He is my friend. Tashiev expressed his position — you probably all know. He said that he would obey the president's decision. They are inseparable friends: they shared bread and salt, held the Quran together. He expressed his personal opinion. The relationship between two friends is their relationship. There is no need to politicize this. Since Sadyr Nurgozhoevich and General Tashiev have been working, many changes have occurred in the country. But there are also ups and downs — what will happen next, we will see together. I have already expressed my opinion.
Tashiev's health is fine. He had five stents in his heart [coronary stenting]. One of them has shifted. He says he asked the president for permission: he wanted to spend 15 days in Germany to reposition the stent and get treatment.
I agree with the president's decision. If they say, 'leave now,' I will write a statement and leave,” Toktorbaev said.
When asked when Tashiev would return to Kyrgyzstan, the mayor replied: “I don’t know for sure. God willing, he will arrive.”
- Yesterday, February 10, by the decision of the country's president Sadyr Japarov, Kamchybek Tashiev was relieved of his duties as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
