President Sadyr Japarov issued a decree that envisions a phased withdrawal of funding for enterprises engaged in heat supply.

This document was signed on February 11 and stipulates that the process of phasing out subsidies will be completed by 2033.

According to the Ministry of Energy, the budget allocates about 2 billion soms annually for subsidies to the population due to low tariffs.

It was previously reported that the government plans to achieve self-sufficiency in the energy sector, including heat supply, by 2023. These goals are also reflected in the Republic's development program for the next four years. Currently, there is an annual increase in tariffs for both electricity and heat supply in the country.
