Shairbek Tashiev noted that he met with his brother Kamchybek after his resignation from the head of the GKNB and his return from Germany.
“We are close relatives, and we have a good relationship. After the loss of our parents, he became both a father and a mother to us. Now, after treatment, his condition has improved a bit, but full recovery will take time. As for the president's decision, all citizens and public servants must comply with it. We have no right to assess whether it was right or wrong. It did not provoke any special reactions in our family,” Tashiev emphasized.
In addition, he denied rumors about a possible criminal case against him and that he had been detained.
