IOC closed the case against Infantino after meeting with Trump

Infantino's recent appearance at an event with the American president sparked discussions in sports circles regarding a possible violation of the principle of political neutrality outlined in the Olympic Charter. However, after an internal investigation, the IOC concluded that the actions of the FIFA president did not violate established norms.

As part of the initiative, FIFA intends to invest up to $75 million in the development of sports projects in the Gaza Strip. The IOC noted that such steps fully align with the humanitarian mission of the federation and are aimed at supporting social infrastructure through football.

Thus, the case is officially closed. The IOC and FIFA will continue their cooperation in preparation for important sporting events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup and upcoming international meetings in Milan.
