Recently, Elnara Subakozhayeva was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies in the Kyrgyz Republic. This order was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Elnara Subakozhayeva's career began in 2008 when she joined MegaCom as an intern in the contact center. Since then, she has progressed from entry-level positions to leadership roles in the telecommunications industry.
In 2017, she took the position of head of the State Communications Agency, where she implemented an online platform for open bidding for radio frequencies. The introduction of this mechanism contributed to an increase in revenue to the state budget due to its transparency.
From 2024 to February 2026, Elnara headed the state operator MEGA (JSC "Alpha Telecom"). Under her leadership, the company registered over 2.2 million active subscribers for the first time, leading to increased revenues, higher tax contributions, and dividends paid to the state.
In 2024, for her significant contribution to the development of communications, she was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Cabinet of Ministers.
