In Kyrgyzstan, the Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new rule that completely exempts military and humanitarian railway transportation from all fees and fines within the country.

This applies to trains and convoys that are used for state needs, as well as those participating in military exercises conducted on the territory of the republic.

Now, military trains and their cargo will not be required to pay for wagon downtime, property storage, and other fees that were previously charged by the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu".

This exemption applies to both local convoys and wagons of foreign railways if they are used for military or humanitarian needs of Kyrgyzstan.

The Ministry of Defense must notify the railway services at least 10 days before the start of transportation about the route, type of convoy, and loading and unloading locations. This will allow for more efficient movement and help avoid delays.

The regulation will come into effect 10 days after its official publication and is aimed at improving the country's defense capability and ensuring stable military logistics.
