In 2025, 3,145 comprehensive inspections were conducted in medical institutions, of which 959 inspections concerned private clinics. This was reported by Sanjar Temirbekov, head of the public health department, at a meeting of the relevant committee of the Jogorku Kenesh.

As a result of these inspections, 2,245 sanitary prescriptions were issued, and 1,111 individuals faced administrative penalties. Due to serious violations of sanitary regulations, the activities of 116 institutions were suspended.

The total amount of imposed fines amounted to 3 million 349 thousand soms.

Sanjar Temirbekov noted that the requirement to coordinate inspections with the Ministry of Economy and to notify private clinics 10 days prior to the visit creates significant obstacles for effective control.
