Osmonov is a cardiologist with extensive experience in the field of medicine. He holds the position of head of the Department of Cardiology at the International Medical University of Bishkek and serves as the chief freelance interventional cardiologist and arrhythmologist at the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In the professional community, he is known as one of the best specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, as well as an active participant in international medical organizations and scientific projects.
Earlier, the president issued a decree relieving Kanaybek Dosmambetov from the position of Minister of Health, which he had held since December 24, 2025.
