The presentation of credentials to the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, took place thanks to the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in that country, Akylbek Kilychev. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the ceremony was held at the president's residence.
During the meeting, the significance of bilateral relations was discussed, and mutual interest in strengthening political dialogue and expanding cooperation in key areas of mutual interest for both countries was confirmed.
The participants emphasized the importance of maintaining open and constructive interaction based on respect and adherence to international law.
Akylbek Kilychev expressed a desire to activate cooperation between the relevant agencies and business communities of the two countries in the field of trade and economic cooperation.
The President of Iran, in turn, wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic activities and noted the importance of the consistent development of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
