The government of Kyrgyzstan has approved the decision to create a joint-stock company named "Kyrgyz Satellite," in which the state will hold 100% of the shares. This initiative aims to utilize modern space technologies for monitoring the environment, accounting for land resources, analyzing climate changes, searching for strategically important minerals, and preventing emergencies.

The authorized capital of the new company will amount to 100,000 soms, which will be formed by issuing 100 registered shares, each with a nominal value of 1,000 soms. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic will be the founder and the sole shareholder on behalf of the state.

The ministry has been tasked with conducting the state registration procedure for the new joint-stock company, registering the share issuance with the financial market regulation and supervision service, as well as developing and approving the company's charter. The agency must also fulfill other tasks arising from this resolution.

The Karakol city administration is recommended to jointly allocate a land plot with the ministry for the construction of the "Kyrgyz Satellite" building, providing it for free use with the obligation to pay for utility and operational expenses.

The Ministry of Finance will allocate 100,000 soms to form the authorized capital and will consider the necessary changes when preparing the draft law on the adjustment of the republican budget for 2026–2028.

This document comes into force 15 days after its signing.
