An appeal signed by 75 people requesting early presidential elections has been submitted to the Jogorku Kenesh. This was reported by Talant Mamytov, who heads the parliamentary group "Yntymak-Mekenchil".
According to Mamytov, this appeal is currently under discussion in the relevant committee. "The result of the review is not yet known. After it is received, the speaker and the committee chairman sent the document for consideration marked 'to be reviewed' in accordance with established norms. A response was sent to the interested parties after the decision of the Constitutional Court," he clarified. The deputy also added that the issue of election timelines should not be decided by the parliament.
