According to Mamytov, "75 citizens of Kyrgyzstan have made a request. It has been registered, and the speaker's resolution allowed it to be sent to the relevant committee for analysis in accordance with the law. The specific consequences of the appeal are still unknown. As I have heard, responses have been provided to the relevant individuals based on the Constitutional Court's decision.
It is worth noting that on February 9, news emerged about an open appeal from 75 citizens to President Sadyr Japarov and Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, raising the issue of the need for early elections in the country. In response, President Japarov dismissed Kamchybek Tashiev, the deputy head of the cabinet and chairman of the GKNB, and reorganized the GKNB. Following Tashiev's resignation, several high-ranking officials who were part of his circle were also dismissed. Against the backdrop of these events, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu also resigned from his position and left his deputy mandate.
According to Japarov, Tashiev claimed that he had not met with the signatories of the appeal; however, the president noted that he would no longer hold public office.
The Constitutional Court, considering the president's appeal, stated that elections should be held within the timeframe established by law - in January 2027.
Additionally, several signatories of the "letter of 75" have been detained and are currently in pre-trial detention, accused of organizing mass riots in Kyrgyzstan.
