
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country has made a statement regarding the conflict.
According to the official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kyrgyzstan expresses deep concern over the escalating tensions in the Middle East.
In its position, Kyrgyzstan emphasizes the need for united efforts from the international community for a peaceful resolution of the current situation, based on the UN Charter and principles of international law. "We call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, to immediately cease hostilities, and to take all possible measures to return to constructive dialogue aimed at resolving the conflict exclusively by peaceful means," the statement notes.
The Ministry also recommends that citizens of Kyrgyzstan refrain from traveling to Iran until the situation stabilizes.
Kyrgyz citizens who are already in Iran are advised to contact the diplomatic missions of Kyrgyzstan in case of emergencies.
