According to Bekeshev, there are currently about 700 vehicles with Russian Federation plates at impound lots in the country.
“In the near future, the Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh Marlen Mamataliyev will travel to Russia, where he intends to appeal to representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other relevant authorities with a request to come to Kyrgyzstan to deregister these vehicles in Russia. This will allow owners of cars with Russian license plates to register their cars in Kyrgyzstan. We just need to wait a little longer,” the deputy added.
