At a meeting of the committee on agrarian policy, water resources, and environmental protection of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Mahabat Mavlyanova expressed her concern about the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on Central Asia, including Kyrgyzstan.

She noted that as a result of Israel's attacks on Iranian oil refineries, dangerous chemicals have entered the atmosphere. These toxic elements, she said, could fall as acid rain in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. "Who is monitoring this process and in which regions such precipitation is possible?" the deputy asked.

In response to this statement, Asel Raimkulova, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, clarified that the Hydrometeorological Service is monitoring the situation through its meteorological stations.
