In Kyrgyzstan, a procedure has been adopted that allows for the temporary suspension of the operation of internet resources containing pornographic content. The signing of the relevant document took place under the leadership of Adylbek Kasymaliev, as reported by the government press service.

This step is the result of the implementation of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the prohibition of access to websites containing elements of pornography," which was adopted to ensure information security and protect citizens, including youth, from unacceptable content, as well as to uphold moral standards on the internet.

The new mechanism will regulate the process of detecting and restricting access to websites with pornographic elements within the internet space of Kyrgyzstan.
