During the discussion, the president noted that deputies receive numerous signals from entrepreneurs who report pressure and threats from some law enforcement officers, as well as problems with the seizure of their property.
Elvira Surabaldiyeva emphasized that many businesspeople are hesitant to file official complaints. "Some entrepreneurs are willing to share information but fear the consequences. I am ready to pass these appeals directly to the president," she added.
Additionally, the deputy proposed to create and publish an official list of property that has been returned to the state. This would clarify which assets were returned voluntarily and which were the result of intervention by investigative bodies.
In response to the expressed concerns, Sadyr Japarov ordered law enforcement agencies to accept all citizen appeals and conduct thorough investigations.
“I instructed the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the State Committee for National Security to accept statements and investigate them carefully. If any employees have indeed unlawfully appropriated property or funds from entrepreneurs, they must be returned,” the president stated.
He also reported that a complete list of property transferred to the state will be made public after the audit is completed.
According to the president, this concerns not only monetary funds but also various assets, including land plots, buildings, kindergartens, and enterprises.
“After the audit is completed, we will present the exact amount and a complete list of property. This may take some time, as it is necessary to verify all objects,” added Sadyr Japarov.
