In his address to the deputies, the head of state noted that the launch of the program, scheduled for September 2026, was announced back in 2025. However, due to the need for funding other state events, such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the World Nomad Games, the implementation timeline had to be adjusted. Thus, the start of funding for the educational initiative will take place in the next cycle.
Sadyr Japarov also discussed the importance of the ideological aspect, noting that the student rotation will be a continuation of the successful exchange of personnel among akims and judges. He emphasized that such a measure is necessary to finally eliminate regional prejudices. The president criticized recent discussions among deputies, pointing out the unacceptability of inciting conflicts and dividing society. He assured that significant progress has been made in the country over the past five years in eliminating the habitual divisions, and a return to old political methods is impossible.
As for the program's mechanism, it is planned to cover 10,000 budget places in the country's universities. 5,000 students from northern regions will be sent to study in southern areas, while a similar number of students from the south will move to the north. The president assured that funding for this project will be secured soon, emphasizing its priority for strengthening the unity of the people and forming a new generation of Kyrgyzstani citizens free from regional prejudices.
