At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, emphasized that there will be no exceptions made in the fight against corruption, even for family members.
The head of state stated that anti-corruption efforts will not cease regardless of the current circumstances.
“There will be no mercy for anyone. Even if it concerns my own brother. I will make no exceptions,” he noted.
Sadyr Japarov also mentioned that his brothers and children do not hold any government positions.
“That is why I am at peace,” he added.
