The incident occurred on March 11, when the police department of the Jayil District received a call from a resident of Kara-Balta, who confessed to killing her husband.
A forensic investigative group from the Jayil District Police Department immediately went to the scene. During the investigation, it was revealed that on the evening of March 10, the couple spent time at the table drinking alcohol, which led to a conflict between them.
According to the woman, she wanted to take a break after two days of work, but her husband continued to insult her, which made her angry. In a fit of rage, she grabbed a knife and slit her 55-year-old husband's throat, after which she moved his body onto a carpet. The man died from his injuries.
After committing the crime, the woman packed her belongings in preparation for her arrest and went to bed. In the morning, she moved the body into the hallway and reported what had happened to the police.
The 55-year-old U.V. has been detained and is currently in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing.
