“The situation is causing serious alarm, especially in light of the fact that the conflict has erupted during the holy month of Orozo—a time when spiritual purification, charity, forgiveness, and mutual respect are customary. We share the bitterness of losses and the suffering of the peoples in the region, considering the significant number of casualties among the civilian population. We condemn any actions that have led to such tragic consequences,” the president noted.

Sadyr Japarov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan, in accordance with the UN Charter and international norms, supports the coordination of global efforts for the peaceful resolution of current conflicts in the region.

“We call on all parties to exercise restraint and to immediately cease hostilities. It is important to take all possible measures to restore constructive dialogue and peacefully resolve the situation as soon as possible,” he concluded.
