The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has informed President Sadyr Japarov about the ongoing tension in the Middle East. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

In accordance with the current situation, the president has ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take all necessary measures to protect the staff of the Kyrgyz embassy in Iran.

The initiated measures are aimed at reducing potential threats to the life and health of both diplomats and their families.

It is worth noting that on February 28 of this year, the United States and Israel began a joint military operation against Iran. As a result of airstrikes, Iranian oil and gas infrastructure facilities were destroyed, and high-profile representatives of the Iranian leadership, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed. In response, Iran began striking various regions of the Middle East.
