Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the World Bank held negotiations

Projects being implemented in the country were discussed


On January 26, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov, held a meeting with Najy Benhassine, the regional director of the World Bank for Central Asia.

During this conversation, the parties reviewed aspects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank, as reported by the ministry's press service.

Sydykov spoke about the current economic indicators of the country, noting that Kyrgyzstan's economy has shown growth in recent years due to a systematic approach to the development of key sectors.

Key topics of discussion included ongoing projects funded by the international partner, as well as plans for further strengthening and expanding cooperation.

Najy Benhassine, in turn, confirmed the World Bank's readiness to continue joint work with Kyrgyzstan and emphasized the positive dynamics of economic growth.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their intention to actively work on the implementation of previously reached agreements.
