The Prime Minister met with the Regional Director of the World Bank for Central Asian countries

On January 27, Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting with Najy Benhassin, the regional director of the World Bank for Central Asia. During the conversation, they discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation, the implementation of key joint projects, as well as issues of budget support and legislative reform, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The parties also thoroughly reviewed plans for the current year and the medium-term prospects for cooperation.

Najy Benhassin positively assessed Kyrgyzstan's efforts to improve fiscal policy and noted that the reforms being carried out in the country contribute to the formation of a sustainable economic environment. "Creating new jobs and improving the living conditions of citizens is the foundation of sustainable growth. The World Bank is ready to provide full support in any areas of mutual interest," he added.

At the end of the meeting, Benhassin confirmed the World Bank's readiness to remain a reliable partner for Kyrgyzstan in implementing ambitious national development programs.
