On January 27, 2026, at the Jerooy mine, where bolting work was being carried out by employees of the contracting organization OsOO "BPK," a rock mass detachment occurred at the face of the +3160 horizon. The press service of "Alliance Altyn" reported this incident.

At the time of the incident, there were four workers from OsOO "BPK," which acts as the general contractor responsible for underground work, on site. Currently, there are 20 contracting organizations operating at the mine.

Two people were hospitalized, and, unfortunately, one of the workers died from the injuries sustained.

To investigate the causes and circumstances of this incident, an interdepartmental commission was established, consisting of representatives from authorized state bodies.
