Almost 10 thousand capsules of psychotropic substances were attempted to be smuggled from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan
In the Uchkurpik district, officers of the State Security Service (SSS) detained a man who was attempting to illegally transport psychotropic drugs to Uzbekistan, with a total value of about 1 billion 320 million soms (over 7 million soms). The detention occurred immediately after he crossed the state border, reports Podrobno.uz.

The incident took place in the Rishtan area when the man, having left Kyrgyzstan, was transporting a large batch of dangerous medications.



During a search conducted in the presence of witnesses, 9,542 capsules of the drug "Zardex" were found in his possession.

A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee on several charges, including illegal border crossing, smuggling, and illegal handling of potent substances. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest, and investigative actions are currently ongoing.
