In Kyrgyzstan, 18 fires were registered in one day

In the territory of Kyrgyzstan, 18 fires occurred in the last 24 hours, which were extinguished by 26 firefighting teams. This information was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on February 5.

The highest number of fires was recorded in the Jalal-Abad and Chui regions — 4 cases each, in the Issyk-Kul region and Bishkek — 3 each, in the city of Osh — 2, and one each in the Batken and Osh regions.

At a warehouse on Intergelpo Street in Bishkek, the fire destroyed conveyor belts, chips, empty containers, vegetable oil, sandwich panels, changing rooms, and a break room on the second floor. The area of the fire was 2,000 square meters. Currently, 4 firefighting teams continue to work at the scene.

In the Jal microdistrict, electrical wires and wooden beams burned on the roof of a multi-story residential building, covering an area of 50 square meters.

On Barguyeva Street in the Kalys-Ordo residential area, a fire occurred in a modular house, resulting in damage to the internal plastic finishing, a plastic door, a wardrobe, two plastic windows, a carpet, dishes, and clothing.

The causes of the fires are under investigation. Additionally, one rescue operation was registered within the day.
