Talipov noted that losses amounting to 389 million soms were prevented thanks to timely responses.
“Fire is a powerful force. To avoid fires, everyone must strictly follow safety rules. Statistics show that in the Batken region last year, there were 526 fires, which is 39% more than in 2024. This indicates a careless attitude of citizens towards fire and frequent burning of garbage during cleaning operations. This fact underscores the importance of adhering to fire safety rules,” he emphasized.
In addition, T. Talipov shared recommendations for fire safety:
“When burning garbage, try to do it as far away from residential buildings, barns, and places where feed and firewood are stored as possible, or use designated areas for this purpose. Never leave a fire unattended until it is completely extinguished;
After finishing burning garbage, be sure to pour water over the remnants or cover them with soil and do not leave the site until everything is out;
When repairing agricultural machinery, clean the engines of oil and monitor the integrity of the insulation of electrical wires;
If you notice signs of a short circuit in your vehicle, immediately contact an auto electrician.
In case of fire, call 112 or 101.”
