In the Nooken district, located in the Jalal-Abad region, active participants of the women's wing of the religious extremist group "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami" have been discovered, as reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).

According to the investigation, the girls were invited to sewing and tailoring classes under the pretext of training, during which the ideology of the organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir" was subtly instilled in them. According to GKNB information, the group's leaders actively participated in closed Telegram channels, disseminated prohibited materials, and discussed issues related to the establishment of a caliphate in Kyrgyzstan.

During the conducted search, significant amounts of prohibited literature were seized from the suspects, as well as electronic devices, including computers, flash drives, and mobile phones.

On January 29, five members of the women's wing were placed in the GKNB detention center. The investigation is ongoing.

GKNB warns that participation of citizens in the activities of religious extremist organizations and the dissemination of extremist materials may result in criminal liability.
